SERVICES: Memorial Services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019, 1:00 PM, at the Church of the Nazarene, 501 N Sycamore Avenue, Roswell, NM. A pot luck meal and visit with family and friends will be held immediately following the service.

John was born on October 23, 1957, to Brinkman JR and Patricia Randle in Roswell, NM. As a child, Johnny’s family lived in Picacho, Seven Rivers, Dexter, and Roswell where he made many lifetime friends. During his teen years, he participated in youth rodeo which set him on his path as a career cowboy.

In 1977, Johnny married Michel Hare in Dodge City, KS. Johnny and Michel had three children and were married 37 years before Michel (Mike) passed in January 2015.

Johnny had many cowboy jobs including ranch foreman, feedlot hand, farrier, trail riding guide, and sale barn pusher. He could break a horse, brand a cow, and win a fight, but he could also be gentle and caring. Johnny could care for a new born baby, keep house, and cook a meal as well as most women. He loved children, telling jokes, and making people happy.
