The Commission on Aging meets at 3 p.m. Thursday at Senior Circle, Wilshire Center, 2801 N. Main St., next door to Family Dollar.
The scheduled speaker is Iris Karges, constituent services representative in the office of U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich of New Mexico.
She will discuss issues of importance as they relate to constituents and their Social Security benefits, Medicare, Veteran Affairs, housing and other federal programs.
