It is with a peace that surpasses all understanding that we celebrate the passing of Billy Walker from this life to the presence of our Lord. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory of Billy for his family at www.andersonbethany.com.
Born to Buddy and Jo Walker on September 15, 1952, Billy lived in Tatum, NM, during his youth and at the age of 15, found the love of his life and future wife of 47 years, Barbara. Billy and Barbara have a beautiful family that includes their son, Ben; daughter-in-love, Caiti; and grandchildren: Livia, Ian, and Walt. Billy also leaves behind his loving sister, Pam; his brother-in-law, Russ; nephew, Jacob Martin and his family Keysha, Jabri, and Kaysen; and nieces: Heather and Hollie of Arkansas.
Billy was a man of faith that chose his words wisely and from his heart. He held a lifelong belief that there was never any reason to burn a bridge because you may need both the bridge and match someday. He enjoyed working in the oil and gas industry and came away with many dear friends. Billy had a great sense of humor and a fantastic laugh, he treasured spending time with family and friends and enjoyed every moment he could. Billy was a fan of cooking shows and an avid sports fan that never gave up on his Dallas Cowboys.
It is with a thankful heart that we extend our gratitude to all those that have been involved in Billy’s care over the course of his more than 12 year battle against cancer.
