Gregory Clyde Cox, 65, born 11-17-53, passed away 12-29-2018 after a long battle from leukemia.

Preceded in death by his mother FayreneTroublefield Cox, his father Elmer Clyde Bealer, and his stepfather Jim Cox.

Survived by one sister Emily Cox Craton, one son Michael Shane Cox of Oregon, and three stepchildren Nichole, Amber and Justin Talbert of Las Cruces.

He loved working with anything automotive which included his hobbies that helped him win three years of motorcross tri-state championship. He worked with dad, Jim Cox, former owner of Arrow Auto Sales on East Mcgaffy for many years. He moved to Las Cruces several years ago to care for his mother and working in construction.

He was a very kind-hearted man and was very loved by his family and friends and will be missed by many. Services will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 graveside in Hagerman at 1:00 pm, then potluck dinner at the Eagles Club, 3201 S. Sunset in Roswell from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Then Robbie Rogers’ home at 508 S. Spruce for more celebration of life for Greg, all friends and family welcome.
