Don Determan recently wrote a letter to the editor denouncing Margie Camp’s views on abortion. Mr. Determan asserts that “murder is murder,” intimating that abortion is unconditionally tantamount to murder.
An often-repeated challenge/refutation to his unyielding view is the fetus conceived via violent rape (I know violent is superfluous here). I would certainly favor giving the victim of the rape the choice to not carry the pregnancy to its term.
Tell us, Mr. Determan, would you have the law of the land take that choice away from her?
