Motorcyclist injured in North Main Street crash

A crash between a motorcycle and a car in the 4500 block of North Main Street led to northbound traffic being temporarily diverted Monday, according to information released Monday afternoon by the Roswell Police Department.

The injured motorcyclist was transported to a hospital, but no other serious injuries were reported. Motorists were asked to avoid the area while the accident was being investigated.

The northbound lane of North Main Street, where the accident happened, was temporarily closed, and traffic was detoured onto Berrendo Road, according to police. Southbound lanes of North Main Street did not close down to traffic.
