The Landscape of Guitar is a groundbreaking art and music production coming to Artesia’s Ocotillo Performing Arts Center, 310 W. Main St., April 25 at 7 p.m.

Animated paintings are sung to life as award-winning singers and songwriters Patchouli and Terra Guitarra — one of the top nuevo-flamenco groups in the world — create a live symphony of color and sound that will inspire the human spirit.

The audience experiences the harmonies of Simon & Garfunkel, the guitars of the Gipsy Kings and the colors of Vincent Van Gogh.

The duo was awarded 2017 Best Instrumental Album of the Year and has had 21 CDs and 4,500 shows in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Remarkably, they are also renowned for their trademarked visual art concept, with exhibitions on three continents. The Landscape of Guitar event has been compared to taking a yoga class in a field of running mustangs.
