Above: 3… 2… 1… LIFT-OFF! The Roswell Chamber of Commerce and the Roswell Chamber of Commerce Redcoats, the city of Roswell and the city Parks & Recreation Department held a ribbon cutting on Sunday. The new Rocket Playground has been installed to replace the 50-year-old rocket slide that will be retired and relocated to a new location as a piece of Roswell history art. There were free snow cones for all the kids and plenty of fun as kids explored the new rocket slide — even Mayor Dennis Kintigh couldn’t resist!
