ENMU to recognize distinguished former faculty

The Eastern New Mexico University Foundation will host the annual Emeritus Faculty Luncheon May 6 in Portales to honor eight retired or former faculty.

This year’s Distinguished Faculty Emeriti recipients are Dudley Cash, who retired in 1988 as associate professor emeritus of agriculture; Loran Crowder (posthumously), who retired in 1986 as instructor emeritus of farm mechanics; Kathy Roler Durand, Ph.D., who retired in 2018 as professor emerita of anthropology; Jerry Everhart, Ph.D., who retired in 2017 as professor emeritus of elementary education; Gerald. A. Gies, Ph.D., who retired in 2017 as professor emeritus of history; Marvin M. F. Lutnesky, Ph.D., who retired in 2017 as professor emeritus of biology; Farrell D. Odom, Ph.D., (posthumously), who retired in 1973 as professor emeritus of religion; and Thomas V. Toglia, Ph.D., who retired in 2013 as professor emeritus of professional technical education.
