Young tennis players and others who would like to learn to be tennis players have an upcoming opportunity to develop their game or simply get introduced to the game.

The May 28-31 Tennis Camp is the first in a series of Summer Sports Camps to be sponsored by the City of Roswell Parks and Recreation Department. The camp, taught by coach Julie Lynn, is for ages 6-14. It will take place each day 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Cahoon Park tennis courts. The cost is $30 (plus tax).

Participants are encouraged to bring their own racquets, although racquets will be available for those who do not have their own. All other supplies will be provided.

To register, or for more information, call the Roswell Adult and Recreation Center at (575) 624-6718 or stop by at 807 N. Missouri Ave.
