Last Thursday, families and children filled the galleries and rooms of the Roswell Museum and Art Center for its Family After Hours event with the Roswell Independent School District’s Arts Connect Creative Learning Center, which partnered with RMAC for the first time. The teachers were ready at 5 p.m. to help create art projects at the different art stations throughout the museum, such as the one seen here at the weaving station with Robin Earwood, center. The theme was “New Mexico” and included painting, sculpting and crafts. “We had a total of 570 in attendance at our event,” Abie Smith, Arts Connect principal, said. “It worked out brilliantly to collaborate with RMAC.” (Christina Stock Photo)
