The National Piano Guild Auditions were held in Roswell April 25-26.

Twenty-four of Mike Lively’s students performed in front of guild judge Ferrell Roberts of Clovis.

The 24 piano students from the Lively Piano Studio were awarded certificates and pins associated with how many musical pieces they performed from memory on various programs. Sight-reading and ear-training were also included.

The programs were arranged as state, national, and international programs. Silver pins were awarded for state programs. Gold pins were awarded for national programs, and large gold pins were awarded for international programs.

State 7-piece programs included Sarah James and Lilli DeGroot.
