Community mailbox at Briarwood Place sustains damage

Police responded at 1:36 p.m. May 29 to a criminal damage call at the zero block of Briarwood Place. A community mailbox valued at $3,500 was reported damaged.

Arrests/arrest citations

Hector Alonzo was charged with possession of a controlled substance at 12:51 a.m. May 24 at the 300 block of East Jefferson Street and Stanton Avenue.

Nathan Bartlett was charged with negligent use of a deadly weapon at 1:56 a.m. May 25 from the 100 block North Delaware Avenue and West Second Street.

Arina Conde was charged with shoplifting from a 200 block North Main Street business at 7:39 p.m. May 27. A variety of merchandise with a combined value of $131 was reported stolen.

Cesar Garcia was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs at 5:42 p.m. May 27 at the 2000 block of North Garden Avenue and East Mescalero Road.

Kimberly Yescas was charged with possession of marijuana at 12:11 a.m. May 29 at the 600 block of East Summit Street and South Garden Avenue.

Isiah Vazquez was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 3:47 p.m. May 29 at the 600 block of East Bland Street and South Garden Avenue.

Aileen Miller was charged with unlawful taking of a vehicle or motor vehicle at 2:02 p.m. May 29 from the 100 block of East Bland Street.

Ricardo Valdez was charged with driving under the influence and a weapons violation at 1:16 a.m. May 30 at the 1300 block of North Union Avenue and West 14th Street.

Alexandra Sanchez was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:30 a.m. May 30 at the 600 block of West 13th Street.

Veronica Montoya was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 6:24 p.m. May 30 at the 300 block of Twin Diamond and Encanto Drive.

Criminal damages/arson

A window and two locks with a combined value of $715 were reported damaged May 25 at 1:23 p.m. at the 1800 block of West First Street.

An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of North Greenwood Avenue at 2:12 a.m. May 25 in reference to criminal damage. A window valued at $100 was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of East Earl Cummings Loop at 6:36 p.m. May 25 in reference to criminal damage. A windshield valued at $1,000 on a 2017 black Honda was reported damaged.

An officer responded to a criminal damage call at 8:51 a.m. May 26 at the zero block of Night Sky Lane. A double pane window valued at $200 was reported damaged.

An officer responded at 10:49 p.m. May 25 to a criminal damage call at the 1200 block of East Walnut Street. The turn signals, headlights and saddle in a black Suzuki along with a cellphone with a combined value of $1,200 were reported damaged.

An RCA television valued at $1,500 was reported damaged at 12:15 p.m. May 26 at the 700 block of South Aspen Avenue.

An officer responded to a criminal damage call at the 300 block of East Seventh Street at 3:40 p.m. May 27. A screen door valued at $100 was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue at 8:17 a.m. May 29 in reference to criminal damage. A white 2018 Ford sustained $100 worth of damage.

A $1,000 car door on a Honda Accord was reported damaged at 8:19 p.m. May 29 at the 1000 block of East 18th Street.

A glass door valued at $500 was reported damaged at 12:04 a.m. May 30 at an 1100 block East Second Street business.

Larcenies/vehicle thefts

An officer responded to a larceny call at a 4000 block North Main Street business at 4:14 p.m. May 24. Three portable speakers, a backpack and hygiene products with a combined value of $327.27 were reported stolen.

A bronze AC unit copper pipe valued at $200 was reported stolen at 4:25 p.m. May 24 from the 1200 block of North Richardson Avenue.

Glasses and a wristwatch with a combined value of $635 were reported stolen from the 700 block of West Hervey Street at 2:14 a.m. May 26.

An officer responded to a call of unknown trouble at the 4:45 p.m. May 26 at the 700 block of East Third Street. A silver 1998 Subaru station wagon was reported stolen.

A case of Crown Royal valued at $479.76 was reported as shoplifted from a 500 block West McGaffey Street business at 1:03 a.m. May 26.

Temporary body tattoo items, a micro cable and clothing with a collective value of $1,339.09 were reported stolen from a 4000 block North Main Street business at 10:05 p.m. May 26.

A purse, a Social Security card, an EBT card, an employee id card and a New Mexico ID with a combined value of $100 were reported stolen at 6:48 p.m. May 29 from the 1600 block of Southeast Main Street.

A debit card valued at $119.57 was reported stolen at 6:40 p.m. May 30 from the 2000 block of North Richardson Avenue.
