A joint fundraising effort contributed $15,000 Saturday to the Roswell Fire Strong fund held at Pioneer Bank. Roswell Ford contributed $5,000, Pecos Valley Broadcasting Co. donated $4,000 and other individuals and businesses, including First American Bank and Redden Plumbing and Mechanical, provided the remaining funds. “We are fortunate that we have people in this community who are willing to step up to help,” said Roswell Ford General Manager Jeremy Crow, shown in the blue shirt behind the check. Roswell Fire Chief Devin Graham, right, and Pioneer Bank Vice President of Marketing Juliana Halvorson accepted the ceremonial check for the Roswell Fire Strong fund on behalf of Roswell firefighters. Others at the ceremony included several Roswell firefighters, Roswell Ford employees, Roswell Ford Marketing Assistant Lidia Romero, far left, and Pecos Valley Broadcasting Manager Jason Greathouse, in cap behind check.
