A cable and internet provider that operates in Roswell and elsewhere will provide three residents in its service area with scholarships for fall 2019.

Sparklight, formerly Cable ONE, has announced that students ages 17 or older enrolled in higher education institutions for the upcoming fall semester and who live in one of the communities in the 21 states served by the company can use social media for a chance to obtain a $3,000 scholarship.

The “Going Places” social media campaign asks that interested students share a photo and a brief written entry describing their educational path, why they’re pursuing it and how it will benefit themselves and their town.

Entries will be accepted through Aug. 2 at sparklight.com/contest. Winners will be highlighted on Sparklight social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram.
