A lifetime resident of Roswell, ANDRES NUNEZ, also known as “ANDY,” to most, 84, went home to be with our Lord on Monday, July 15, 2019, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Andy’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: In accordance with Andy’s wishes, he will be cremated. The family will have a Memorial Service at a later date.

On September 22, 1934, Andy was born to Augustine and Sophia Molina Nunez in Roswell, New Mexico. He married his partner for life, Mollie Escobar Nunez, on October 7, 1958, in Roswell, New Mexico. Andy enjoyed joking and laughing with us. Andy was a great dad, who provided for his wife and family; he was always there for us. Prior to retirement, Andy was a Painting Contractor by trade. Andy was a member of Community Trinidad Church. “We will miss you dearly, Daddy.”

SURVIVORS: Andy, as everybody called him, is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Mollie Escobar Nunez; sons: Michael Miranda (Valerie), Andy Nunez Jr., Charles Nunez (Michelle); daughters: Susan Narvaez (Victor), Cynthia Nunez Larson, Sandra Nunez Matta (Andrew); twenty-two grandchildren; fifty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Nunez of Brentwood, CA; and sisters: Ramona Lopez of Nogales, AZ, and Lynn Jimenez of Hawaii.

PRECEDED: Preceding Andy in death: his parents, Augustine and Sophia Molina Nunez; son, David Nunez; daughter, Lydia Nunez Herrera; and grandson, Bobby Lee Nunez; brothers: Joe Molina, Arnolfo Castrillo, Ernest Nunez; and sisters: Victoria Herrera, and Lupe Romero.
