Larry loved the Lord and his family above all. The day before he passed, he was still sharing his faith with people at the hospital. He retired from the postal service in 2008 after 27 years. He had many different part-time jobs in his retirement. He loved driving so he had many driving jobs. Larry loved riding motorcycles and the biking brotherhood. He was a member of Christian Motorcyclist Association since the early 1980’s. He enjoyed volunteering at food banks and often assisted elderly neighbors in any way he could. In fact, to be helpful, Larry would quietly go around and clean the neighbors’ yards by pulling weeds or picking up. He never wanted a thank you. Larry was truly a happy person. He was quick-witted and made everyone laugh. Through the entire cancer illness battle he made everyone laugh, treated everyone with kindness and concern for their well-being above his own. He found a way to smile through everything he was going through. He fought the good fight and out-lived all expectations. We are eternally grateful for the loving, caring man of faith he was.
