Roswell Intermediates are going to the World Series

Roswell beat West University, 10-3 in seven innings. The winning pitcher was Ross Stokes pitched six innings after relieving starting pitcher Isaac Loya. Ross Stokes hit a grand slam in the sixth inning as they trailed 3-2, to put Roswell ahead 6-3 and they never trailed again. Roswell will play Monday in Livermore, California. Roswell will now be known as the Southwest. This is the first time any Roswell team has been to the World Series since Lions Hondo won it in 1956.
