Joseph ‘Joey’ Parkhill

It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph “Joey” Parkhill, 50, of Deming, New Mexico announces his passing on July 30, 2019.

Joey was born and raised in Roswell, NM where he met his soul mate, the love of his life, Paula Parkhill. He was a man of many trades and completed all his task with the utmost passion. He was a loving father that dedicated and devoted all his time to his two beautiful daughters and loving spouse. He lived a perfect example of what a true “grandpa” should be. He enjoyed developing and crafting bits and spurs, and lived the definition of a hard working farmer. A great man like Joey can never die; His energy, example, and spirit will continue on with all who had the honor of knowing him.

He leaves his wife of 33 years, Paula (Betschick) Parkhill of Deming, New Mexico; two daughters, Victoria (Matthew Delarosa) of El Paso, TX and Rebekah Parkhill of Deming, New Mexico. Grandson/best little buddy, Mason Delarosa. Joey also leaves behind his parents: James and Karlin Parkhill of Roswell, New Mexico; Sisters: Elva (Mark) Hamill of Hagerman, New Mexico, and Diana Parkhill/ Eric Bristow of Capitan, New Mexico; Brothers: Jamie (Stephanie) Parkhill of Riverview, Florida, Joshua DeGraw of Billings, Montana, Matthew (Kim) DeGraw of Great falls, Montana. He is proceeded by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at the Lindell Andrew’s Community Center, 501 E. Argyle in Hagerman, New Mexico 88232 on August 3rd, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.
