ETHEL SUZANNE WARD SHAW, 98, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019. Celebrate Zane’s life by visiting www.andersonbethany.com to offer a memory or expression of sympathy for her family.

SERVICES: A Graveside Service will be held at General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery on Southeast Main Street (South Park Cemetery,) on Friday, August 9, 2019, at 11:00 AM.

On November 29, 1920, Sue was born to William and Ethel Ward in Buffalo, NY. She married Lewis R. “Jack” Shaw and they started their life together on November 30, 1944. Jack was a Rodeo Cowboy who traveled the rodeo circuit with Sue until the birth of Bob Shaw in 1945. After Rodeo, Sue and Jack raised Quarter racehorses’ and Thoroughbred racehorses’ until Jacks death in 1986. Sue lived on the Horse Farm in Roswell until her death August 3, 2019.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Ethel are her children: Bob Shaw and wife Sandy, Jack Shaw, Polly Shaw Morgan and husband John, Roy Shaw and wife Sara; grandchildren: (Bob’s) Doug and wife Renee, Scott and wife Jessica, Boyd and wife Rhianna, Salina and husband Scott, Samantha, Lindsay; (Jack’s) Shawn Shaw Storrie, (Polli’s) John Morgan Jr. and wife Kim, Jennifer Ramage, Lara (Deceased) and husband Erick Wheat, (Roy’s) stepson, Pete Swerston and wife Trish, Bradly Shaw and wife Amie; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
