Information on such topics as business resources, becoming a film industry vendor, job training and academic programs, and expansion grants will be provided at a Saturday constituent outreach program in Albuquerque offered by the New Mexico Economic Development Department and other state agencies.
Alicia J. Keyes, Economic Development Department cabinet secretary; and Todd Christensen, director of the New Mexico Film Office, are scheduled to be at the “Governor’s Cabinet in Your Community” event at the Carpenters Local 1319 Union Hall, 3900 Pan American Freeway NE, Albuquerque, 87107. Department of Public Safety officials also will be present to answer questions about some of their programs.
The Film Office is also hosting its seventh annual Film and Media Industry Conference this weekend at the Hyatt Regency, 330 Tijeras Ave. NW, Albuquerque, 87102. Those working in the industry or interested in a career can learn more about the trades and technical jobs and enroll in workshops.
