The Roswell Sertoma Club was treated recently to a demonstration of drone flying by AirPlay Media.

This company has flown photographic missions for the city of Roswell as well as for the state and various movie companies. They also have worked in other states.

Mike Lanfor and Jenna Secrist explained the training and regulations involved to be able to fly a drone legally. The company teaches all aspects of drone flying.

The Roswell Sertoma Club assists in the purchase of hearing aids and speech therapy to needy persons, provides 27 $500 college scholarships each semester and supports various youth activities and other charitable causes. Anyone wishing to join the club is welcome to attend one of its meetings at noon at the Elks Lodge every Friday. Forms to apply for assistance are available on the club’s website: roswellsertoma.org.
