Red Lobster, the Chaves County Sheriff’s Office and the Roswell Police Department will team up this week to raise money for the Special Olympics.

Red Lobster Manager Hanan Galassini said that local law enforcement officers will raise donations by serving food and drinks at the restaurant at 2625 N. Main St. from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. The money will go to the organization that funds athletic competitions and training for adults and children with disabilities.

The “Cops and Lobster” event was held for about 10 years and is being relaunched this year after a hiatus.
