SERVICES: There will be a Viewing for Martin at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Friday, August 23, 2019, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 24, 2019, 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery.

On February 16, 1939, Martin was born in Roswell, New Mexico, to Felix and Ignacia Sosa of Dexter, New Mexico. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother. Martin served his country in the United States Navy for twenty-one years and fought in Vietnam. He traveled the world while in the Navy. Martin visited many countries, but the Philippines was his favorite.

Martin loved sports, especially football. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. Martin loved driving around town and enjoyed taking his grandkids to school. He never missed a Saturday without taking his grandchildren donuts. They were light of his life, and he loved them dearly. Martin was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known him.

SURVIVORS: Those left to celebrate Martin’s life are his daughter, Valerie Sosa and her children: Angelique, George, Monet, Jazmine, and Willie Jr. Stogden; son, Lorenzo Sosa and his daughters: Hannah and Olivia Sosa; brothers: Freddie, Felipe, Frankie, Fidel, Fernando, and Felix Sosa; sisters: Lorena Hernandez, Margaret Sosa, and Ernestina Lueras; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

PRECEDED: Preceding Martin in death are his parents, Felix and Ignacia Sosa; sisters: Lupe Solis, Reyes Garcia, Dora Masek.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Chosen to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are Freddie, Felipe, Frankie, Fidel, Fernando, and Felix Sosa.

PALLBEARERS: Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Pete Hernandez, Juan Ibarra, Urbano Sosa, Eric Sosa, George Stogden, Freddie Sosa, and Felipe Jr. Sosa.
