RAYMOND MANUEL FRANCO, 77, passed on to join his Heavenly family on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.

Raymond was born to Albert and Helen Franco on July 9, 1942, in Roswell, New Mexico. Both preceded him in death, along with his brother, Sunny Franco and his beloved dog, Frisky.

He is survived by his sister, Julie Nicholson; brother, Joe Franco; beloved children: daughter, Julie Lollis and husband James; sons: Ray Franco Jr. and wife Wendi, Daniel Franco and fiancé Cimi Baca. Raymond has 7 beautiful grandchildren: Angelique Marin and husband Louie, Kathleen Salcido, Leticia Salcido, Steve Salcido, Salayandrina Garcia, Remigio Franco, Arianna Franco. He also has 4 wonderful great-grandchildren: Louie, Emilio, Rodrigo Marin, and Alicia Salcido.

Raymond worked for the City of Roswell for 25 years. He enjoyed his job and worked hard for his family. With strong catholic beliefs, he played in the choir for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and would volunteer his time for Los Cursillo.

Raymond loved his Dallas Cowboys with a passion, ride or die for his boys. He also enjoyed his boxing, WWE, and Nascar on his favorite TV. Raymond was founded of his hunting and fishing. He loved his guitar so much. Raymond was a #1 fan to the Goddard Rockets. He supported his children and grandchildren in all their sports. Raymond was in spirit for all they did. No matter what, he was the best cheerleader for them all.

Those honored to serve as Pallbearers are James Lollis, Ray Franco Jr., Daniel Franco, Louie, and Angelique Marin, Steve Salcido, Remigio Franco, Kathleen Salcido, and Leticia Salcido.

Honorary Pallbearers are Louie Marin Jr., Emilio Marin, Rodrigo Marin, Arianna Franco, Salaandrina Garcia, Yans’Z Baca, Alicia Salcido, and Celia Baca.

Please join us as we say our farewells to this caring, supportive man. There will be a viewing for Raymond on Monday, August 26, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We will have the rosary and services on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at 10:00 AM, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. The procession to his final resting place will follow at South Park Cemetery.

A special “Thank You” to the Joy Center and Joe for the daily lunches and visits. To his compadre, Patricio Baca, Celia Baca for the talks, laughs, and help around the house. Big shout out to Anderson Bethany Funeral Home & Crematory for all the help in making it easy as Raymond would’ve wanted it to be. To the City of Roswell, Parks and Recreation Crew, for always keeping Raymond in mind. Special Thank You to Laurie Dudek for the lovely rosary and slide show.
