BILLY ADAM CASTILLO SR., 66, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Billy’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: Billy’s Celebration of Life will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 30, 2019, at 2:00 PM. Ernie Martinez will be officiating. Interment will follow at General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery.

On July 25, 1953, Billy was born to Adam and Delia Castillo in Roswell, New Mexico. He enlisted in the US Army on 15 Oct 1975, until 23 Feb 1976. After Billy’s military service ended, he met and married his partner for life, Della Jimenez Castillo. As a result of their happy union, they had four children, whom he loved dearly. His pastime interest outside of family were basketball and track. Billy was a man who enjoyed watching wrestling and WWF. His most memorable moments were watching cartoons with his grandchildren and hunting and fishing with his loved ones.

After nineteen years, Billy retired from Chavez County, where he worked as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was an active member of the VFW and Moose Lodge. He was a spiritual man of the Catholic faith. Billy will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Billy are his loving wife, Della Castillo; children: Angie Sigala, Santiago Castillo, Billy Castillo Jr., and Billie Jo Guevara; grandchildren: Valerie Tavarez, Crystal Tavarez, Santino Sigala, Ami Otero, Josiah Castillo, Billy Ray III Castillo, Sebastian Castillo, Amaya Castillo; great-grandchildren: Annizette Saavedra, Isreal Josiah Castillo, Jordon, Nathdaniel, Azmariah Borunda; mother, Delia Castillo; siblings: Barbara Anaya, Jerry Castillo, Larry Castillo, Carmen Lara; numerous nieces and nephews; close friends: Louie Gonzalez, Tim Anaya, Reuben Anaya, Beatrice Lucero, Jimmy Lucero, Nick Aguilar, Tony Wyatt, Jessie Alvarez; and special brother-in-law, Rudy Anaya.

Billy’s family will be receiving friends and family after services at 1601 S. Stanton, Roswell, New Mexico.
