Crowns, helmets, swords and castles were built by the children and their family and friends at the second Family after Hours event on Thursday afternoon. Family after Hours is new this year, teaming up the Roswell Museum and Art Center with the Roswell Independent School District’s Arts Connect program. “We are excited to partner again with Arts Connect on presenting Family After Hours,” RMAC director Caroline Brooks said in an earlier interview. “The program combines both of our talented staff and resources to create a fun, creative experience for local families. We were amazed at the crowds at the first event, which tells us we are on the right track with filling the needs and interests of the community.” The next Family after Hours event will be in Spring 2020.
