Roswell Animal Services Supervisor Joseph Pacheco was the guest speaker at the Sunrise Optimist Club’s regular meeting Wednesday. Pacheco provided stats on different calls Animal Services responded to this past year. He broke it down to different animals — from dogs and cats to box turtles. He reported that the euthanasia numbers have decreased due to the different humane organizations in Roswell. A question-and-answer period followed his talk. Join the Sunrise Optimist Club any Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. at the Lovelace hospital cafeteria. For more information, contact membership chairman Roger K. Burnett at 420-9420. (Submitted Photo)
