SERVICES: A Rosary will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Friday, September 6, 2019, at 1:00 PM, followed by a Mass service at 2:00 PM.
On July 15, 1943, Enrique was born to Juan and Inez Torres Rosales in Alif, Texas. Upon graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force 26 Nov 1962 and was stationed at Walker Air Force Base. He was honorably discharged on 25 Nov 1966, as an Admin Specl. Enrique attended college and received his associate degree in business. Enrique was the beloved husband of Aida Berrones Rosales, whom he married on June 3, 1967, in Roswell, New Mexico. They lived in Houston, Texas, where he worked at the VA Hospital from 1966 to 1982, as a Chief of Ambulatory Care. In 1982, Enrique returned to Roswell and joined the United States Postal Service until he retired.
Enrique was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. He was a dedicated member of the Roswell Tennis Association, and Spring River Golf Association. His heart was for service, and his life was dedicated to being the best husband, father, and grandfather.
Enrique’s favorite pastime was listening to music and dancing. He enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and tinkering with his car and truck. Enrique was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known him.
SURVIVORS: Those left to forevermore cherish beautiful memories of Enrique are his loving wife of 52 years, Aida Berrones Rosales; children: Theresa Rosales of Lubbock, Texas, Esther Rosales of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren: Zachary Alva, Jasmine Alva; brothers: Peter (Fermina) Rosales, John (Pearl) Rosales, Bernell (Frances) Rosales, Miguel (Charmian) Rosales; sisters: Simona (Marcus) Montano, Emma Rosales, and Evangelina Garcia all of Houston, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; precious cats: Shadow, Boots; brother-in-law, Ray (Jenny) Berrones of Roswell, New Mexico; sister-in-law, Aracely (Joe) Luna of San Antonio, Texas; and former sister-in-law, Beatrice Rosales.
PRECEDED: Preceding Enrique in death are his parents, Juan and Inez Torres Rosales; sister, Rachel Rosales Casarez; and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Jose and Margarita M. Berrones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made in Enrique’s name to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Hospital.
