Joseph Pacheco, Roswell Animal Services supervisor, was the guest speaker at a recent Sunrise Optimist Club regular meeting. Pacheco gave the stats on the different calls they responded to this past year. He broke it down to the different animals from dogs and cats all the way down to box turtles. He reported that the euthanasia numbers have decreased due to the different Humane organizations here in Roswell. An informative question-and-answer period followed his talk.

If you want to know more about our community speakers or more about the Sunrise Optimist Club and how they help the youth of Roswell, join us any Wednesday morning, 7 a.m., at Lovelace Hospital cafeteria or contact our membership chairman, Roger K. Burnett at 420-9420.
