Vehicles, trophies and beer mugs sustain damage

The following public records are from the Roswell Police Department and can be viewed at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

RPD was called by an off-duty officer in reference to a report of criminal damage in the 2000 block of North Grand Avenue at 12:23 a.m. Aug. 31. A 1998 Ford Mustang had its windows smashed with a golf club and a 2014 Toyota was keyed, with each sustaining $1,000 worth of damage. Three trophies valued at $50 and six beer mugs with a combined value of $50 were also reported damaged.

Arrests/arrest warrants

Victor Balderrama was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs at 3:51 a.m. Aug. 31 in the 1600 block of South Union Avenue.

Paulette Garcia was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs at 3:13 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 500 block of North Atkinson Avenue.

Trinidad Chacon-Carrera was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs at 2:52 a.m. Sept. 1 in the 6000 block of South Main Street.

Helen Rodriguez was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs at 5:37 a.m. in the 500 block of North Missouri Avenue.

Matthew Morales was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs at 12 a.m. Sept. 5 in the 200 block of West Alameda Street.

Arson/criminal damage

An officer responded to a criminal damage call in the 100 block of North Missouri Avenue at 9:12 a.m. Aug. 30. A right rear tire valued at $100 on a 2000 Ford was reported damaged.

Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of West Tilden Street Aug. 31 at 2:47 p.m. in reference to a report of criminal damage. A window valued at $200 on a 2007 Honda Civic was reported damaged.

A wall valued at $1,000 was spray-painted, an electric meter with a value of $500 and a camera valued at $100 were damaged in the 1200 block of North Missouri Avenue at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 1.

An officer was dispatched to the zero block of Briarwood Place at 12:33 a.m. Sept. 2 in reference to an arson. A couch valued at $100 was burned.

Police responded to a criminal damage call Sept. 2 at 3:44 p.m. in the 2000 block of North Main Street, after a front glass door valued at $1,000 was reported damaged.

Police responded to a criminal damage call at 4:37 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 1700 block of Pontiac Drive. The body and windows of a blue Ford Mustang sustained $5,000 in damage.

Larceny/theft

A 2013 Honda Accord was reported stolen at 8:58 a.m. Aug. 30 at the 100 block of West Alameda Street.

A tire valued at $250 and a rim valued at $350 on a 2015 Lincoln Town Car were reported stolen at 6:28 a.m. Aug. 31 in the 1000 block of North Kentucky Avenue.

A Cricket LG cellphone valued at $150 was reported stolen from the 400 block of West Second Street at 3:50 a.m. Aug. 31.

An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Gary Avenue at 5:39 a.m. Aug. 31 in reference to a stolen door bell camera valued at $200.

An inflatable advertiser valued at $150 was reported stolen at 5:39 p.m. Sept. 1 from the 100 block East Second Street.

Police were dispatched at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 4 to a shoplifting incident in the 2000 block of Southeast Main Street. Two wheelbarrows with a combined value of $158 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of West Sixth Street at 5:42 a.m. in reference to a larceny. A bicycle, a cellphone and a 12-pack of beer with a collective value of $363 were reported stolen.

A Mongoose bicycle with an estimated value of $150 was reported stolen in the 2700 block of North Garden Avenue at 2:04 p.m. Sept. 4.

Police responded to a call of an intoxicated subject Sept. 4 at 5:22 p.m. in the 1600 block of Stanton Avenue, when a right rear tail-lamp on a 2011 Chevy Impala and a front glass storm-door with a combined value of $265 were reported damaged.

Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Woody Drive at 5:20 a.m. Sept. 5 in reference to a vehicle burglary after surveying equipment valued at $800 was reported stolen from a 2005 Chevy.
