Roswell Woman’s Club awards scholarships to four ENMU-R students

The Roswell Woman’s Club has awarded scholarships of $500 each to four students at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell this fall semester. The recipients are, seated in front row, from left, Anthony Silva, automotive technology; Yajaira Sosa, behavioral sciences, and Julia Azih, occupational safety engineering. Abrianna Galindo, a nursing student, is not pictured. Established in 1895, the Roswell Woman’s Club is one of the oldest civic clubs in Roswell and has a long history of support for ENMU-Roswell. The club awards scholarships in both the spring and fall semesters to selected students who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have completed at least 12 credit hours.
