Police have released images from surveillance video at convenience stores at which the suspect is alleged to have used stolen debit cards.

He is believed to have obtained the cards during the Sept. 14 burglary of a purse from a vehicle in the 1200 block of West McGaffey Street.

While the images from the video systems are not of high quality, investigators hope one or more people may be able to recognize the suspect and aid police in identifying him. In the video surveillance, the suspect, who appears to be a Hispanic male with close-cropped black hair, is wearing a T-shirt with the word “King” and a crown on it.

Anyone with information that could possibly help identify this suspect is asked to call the Roswell Police Department at 575-624-6770 or Chaves County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-594-TIPS(8477).
