It was a mild and lazy Sunday on November 22, 1987 in Roswell, New Mexico the day Jerika LuRee Jacobo decided it was time to meet the very 1st two people who would completely fall in love with her forever, her parents, Jesus “Jesse” Jacobo Jr. and Gina LuRee Garcia Jacobo.

Jerika was as unique and enchanting as her name. She was very generous and benevolent, with her time, talent and heart. She had a habit of giving gifts for no other reason than “I just want to give this to you”. Her sweet little heart’s desire was to help and care for her family and friends. She cherished the time she spent with them and treasured family values and traditions. She was full of life, uplifting, intelligent, witty and charming.

She especially enjoyed visiting and connecting with family and friends she was lots of fun to be with in any situation. Any friend of Jerika’s will attest to the fact that she was an exceptional and genuine friend.

She is survived by her sister, Jozi Rae Jacobo with whom she had a special relationship . They both would describe it as a “Twin Spidey Sense” They both shared November birthdays, only 2 years apart and together most days of Jerika’s all too brief life. Jerika loved her sister dearly and always included her and all aspects of her life.

She fiercely loved her big brother Johnny Jacobo (Jessica Jacobo). She was very proud of him and enjoyed spending time with him.
