Loretta Aiello Mathis, 85, of Albany, Oregon, was born in Clovis, New Mexico, to Raymond and Dorothy Jones on February 19, 1934. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Loretta’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

While in Roswell, Loretta served as President of a prominent jewelry store called the House of Art Jewelers, and she also served as President of the Roswell Chamber of Commerce and the Roswell Red Coats. She was a force of nature. Loretta was a tall, beautiful blonde with poise and style. She had an infectious sense of humor and a wonderful laugh. Loretta was a member of the Oregon Enduring A’s and a Taco Tuesday Social Club, an avid reader, and baker. She was also a member of Bet Am in Corvallis.

All who knew Loretta were better for having known her, and she will be missed by all who loved her. She will be laid to rest at the South Park Cemetery at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, in Roswell, New Mexico.

Loretta leaves behind three children: Tony Aiello and wife Leslie, Terry Aiello and wife Linda, and Cheri Jablownoski and husband Michael; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters: Joneth Lucht and husband David Veach, Melinda Bean and husband Ron; and sister-in-law, Wanda Jones.
