Nancy Lopez Character Counts! Kick-Off

There are Six Pillars of Character and they are: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship, and Nancy Lopez Elementary School is the foundation to those Pillars! Every year Nancy Lopez Elementary invites the Roswell Chamber of Commerce and the Roswell Chamber of Commerce Redcoats to the “kick-off” breakfast for Red Ribbon Week with local law enforcement. Sheriff Mike Herrington spoke to the kids on Oct. 21 and reminded them “You are the only one that can say no to drugs!” Red Ribbon Week is Oct. 21-25, but every day Character Counts! Pictured are, back row: Lt. Mason, Deputy Kennard, Deputy Shannon, Deputy Hardy and Deputy Johnson. Front row: Sgt. Cassidy, Sheriff Herrington, Principal Dolores Ingram and Deputy Sedillo.
