On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at 12:41 PM, MARIA SOCORRO BARRAZA of Durango, Mexico, born on June 17, 1954, was called to be with the Lord. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Maria’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: There will be a Viewing for Maria on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019, 10:00 AM, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Maria was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and Los Crusillitas. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Maria not only loved her family, but she also loved life and touched the heart of many. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

SURVIVING: Those left to cherish memories of Maria are her children: Lucy Barraza, Oralia Barraza and Jerry Almaraz, Mario and Angela Barraza, Eric and KaSandra Barraza, Porfirio Barraza; grandchildren: Ricky Gomez Jr., Randy Gomez, Arthur Barraza, Anthony Barraza, Andres Franco, Zaiden Barraza, Kayden Barraza, Danielle Lucero, Adelina Barraza, Yanessa Cruz, Neveah Barraza; great-grandchildren: Avidan Gomez, Jacob Gomez, Adaleigh Gomez, Avalee Gomez; siblings: Manuel and Mariaelana Gutierrez, Gerardo and Christina Vazquez, Merejildo; aunt, Leocardia Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

PRECEDED: Preceding Maria in death was her husband, Mario Barraza; parents, Socorro Gutierrez and Guadalupe Vasquez; and sister, Guencha.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Blessed to be chosen as Honorary Pallbearers are Mario Barraza, Pilo Barraza, Eric Barraza, and Jerry Almaraz.

PALLBEARERS: Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Arthur Barraza, Anthony Barraza, Rickey Gomez Jr., Randy Gomez, and Andres Franco.
