Terry Leen Martin, 54, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Quemado, NM on September 28, 2019.

On November 18. 1964, Terry was born in Roswell, NM to Jerry and Sandra “Sue” Martin, where she grew up and attended school. After high school Terry took on and wore many different hats. She attended art school and beauty school and was an avid dancer. She loved to roller skate, in fact you may have seen her in the 70’s rolling around Sonic and on Main Street. She loved to paint, hunt, fish, water ski and camp, she loved being creative and outdoors as much as she could be. She was mentored by Al Almond and became a professional Journeyman painter. She loved making others home look the best thy could be. She would give you the shirt off her back and the last dollar in her wallet if she thought you truly needed it.

She was loved by her close friends and family without judgment. She may have been a tough nut to crack but once you cracked her she loved you with all her heart. With this being said those left to cherish her memories are her brother Curtis Thomas and his wife Vickie of Roswell, NM, sister Qunnellie Dilley and her husband Micheal of Tijeras, NM, and Little Brother as would always say Jerry and his wife Stacey also of Roswell, NM. She has many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. All of those that will miss her greatly.

Those preceding Terry were her parents, Jerry and Sandra “ Sue “ Martin, grandparents on both the Martin’s side of the family and the Ramey’s side of the family and also her Ex-husband Bill Morgan, and many pets (that she also considered family – maybe more so than some of her real family).

A memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, November 9, 2019 at The Hope Center, located at 2803 W. 4th Street Roswell, NM, with a meal being hosted by them as well. We greatly appreciate Al Almond and his congregation for their gratitude and emotional support during this very difficult time.
