SARA MAGANA CASTILLO, 43, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Sara’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

On May 6, 1976, Sara was born to Rito Castillo and Delma Rodriguez in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from University High School in Roswell, New Mexico. Sara received a Special Olympics Award for running in El Paso, Texas. She was a member of Church of Christ. Sara loved praying and hearing hymns. She enjoyed watching TV and going to the movies. Sara also loved being with her mother and sister, especially when her family would make her laugh. She was always happy to see her nieces and cousins. Sara will be dearly missed by her loved ones.

SURVIVORS: Those left to cherish memories of Sara are her mother, Delma Castillo; grandmother, Adelaida Magaña; sisters: Sylvia Franco and husband Ismael Franco, Rebecca Baeza and husband Jose Baeza, and Rachel Castillo; uncles: Leno Magaña, Frank Magaña; aunt, Patty Magaña; along with nieces and nephews: Paris Franco, Yasmine Magaña, Jenika Garcia, Destiny Franco, Ismael Franco Jr., Oscar Franco, Yuvia Franco, Lorenzito Najar, Richard Najar, Vanessa Baeza, Melissa Baeza, Joe Baeza, Yurisis Soto, Amoriah Soto, and Ezequiel Soto Jr.

PRECEDED: Preceding Sara in death were her father, Rito Castillo; sister, Naomi Magaña; along with a niece, Ruby Franco.

Sara’s family would like to give a special “Thanks” to the Church of Christ for their prayers, and to Sylvia Franco and Destiny Franco for taking care of Sara and always being there for her.
