Patricia Ann (Mabry) York passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 in Fort Smith, Arkansas with her son, Shannon York, and daughter-in-law, Laura by her side.

Patricia graduated from Goddard High School and attended Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell. In 1971, she married Jackie York and went on to have two wonderful sons, Shannon and Christopher, who were the light of her eyes.

Patricia, also known as Mimi to many; loved her family, football (Go Cowboys!), and coached many little cheerleaders throughout the years. Other than being a homemaker to her family, she worked hard for many years at Wal-Mart, with her mother in the family laundry business, and later as a caregiver to the elderly, shut-ins, and disabled. Finally, as a testament to her service to the Lord, she was one of the founding members of Church on the Move.

Patricia York is survived by her son, Shannon York and wife, Laura; brother, Wayne Mabry and his wife, Margaret; brother, Robert Mabry and his wife, Barbara; and sister, Evelyn Landry. She is also survived by her grandson, Shadduc York and partner, Kyla Morgan; grandson, Austin York; and granddaughter Shylynn York; as well as 2 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Wendell and Ruby Mabry; her sisters, Helen Dennis and Barbara Chenoweth; niece Terry Hix, who was more like a sister; nephew, Curtis Wayne (Wheeler) Dennis; great nephew, Joshua Aaron Landry; and finally, her beloved son, Christopher Lloyd York.
