The New Mexico Department of Transportation is inviting the public to comment on proposed road and bridge projects.

The department’s State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) is amended quarterly and is available for review on the department’s website. Comments on the amendment to the 2020-2025 STIP will be accepted until Dec. 15. The website for the amendment is https://estip.dot.state.nm.us.

The STIP is required under federal legislation. Projects on the list are on federal and state highways. The STIP is a collaborative state, local, regional and tribal transportation planning effort, developed by the state Transportation Department. Projects included in the STIP are funded by a combination of federal, state and/or local funds or a combination of those funding sources.
