Nov. 30 is Shop Small Saturday, a 10-year tradition the Saturday after Thanksgiving when people are encouraged to make their purchases at locally owned and small businesses in their communities. Conrado Deanda, carrying bags, and Schelley Collins, in pink shirt, help prepare for that day on Saturday morning. Alongside members of Cub Scout Pack 26 and Girl Scout Troop 18045, they clean up the downtown retail area as part of the Shop Small Sweep effort organized by the Roswell Chamber of Commerce, the Hispano Chamber of Commerce, Keep Roswell Beautiful and MainStreet Roswell.
