Lemons, avocados and hairspray among items stolen

The following public records are from the Roswell Police Department and can be viewed at rpdp2c.org. All people arrested or cited are presumed innocent.

Police responded to a call of shoplifting in the 4500 block of North Main Street at 3:29 p.m. on Nov. 17. An ice cream cone, four avocados, 12 lemons, two bottles of hairspray, two bags of chicken tenders, three sun-catchers and a pair of girl’s boots valued at $74.06 were reported stolen.

Arrests/Arrest Citations

Zayn Andrew Peters and Christian Cunningham were each charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Nov. 16 at 12:45 a.m. in the 6000 block of Southeast Main Street.

Jose Holguin was charged with driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Nov. 16 at 3:39 a.m. in the 2200 block of South Berkley Drive.

Jonathan M. Hernandez was charged Nov. 17 at 4:28 a.m. in the 100 block of West Second Street with aggravated assault and shooting at a dwelling or occupied building from a motor vehicle.

Marietta Najar was charged Nov. 18 at 8:18 a.m. in the 300 block of South Washington Avenue with misuse of 911.

Johnny Paul Lucero was charged with shooting at a dwelling or occupied building from a vehicle on Nov. 18 at 11:19 a.m. in the zero block of Briarwood Place.

Ashley Gonzales was charged with burglary and criminal damage to property on Nov. 19 at 6:39 a.m. in the 400 block of East Third Street.

Anthony Mark Sandoval was charged with possession of controlled substances on Nov.19 at noon in the 3700 block of South Atkinson Avenue.

Vicente Vargas, 53, was charged with burglary at 10:02 p.m. on Nov. 19 in the 1100 block of East Bland Street.

Sidney Martinez was charged with being a fugitive from justice Nov. 20 at 12:30 p.m. in the zero block of Grand Avenue.

Hernan Alexis Botello was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs Nov. 20 at 11 p.m. in the 400 block of Twin Diamond Drive.

Jonicholas Alfredo Aguilar was charged with resisting, evading or obstructing an officer on Nov. 21 at 4:15 a.m. and aggravated assault at 5:38 a.m. in the 900 block of West Ninth Street.

Jacob Montoya was charged with possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance; distribution prohibited on Nov. 21 at 1:58 p.m. in the 800 block of West 11th Street.

Iverson Smith was charged with failure to register as a sex offender on Nov. 21 at 5:42 p.m. in the 600 block of West Second Street.

La Archuleta was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs on Nov. 21 at 11:51 p.m.

Arson/criminal damage

An officer responded to a call of shots fired in the zero block of Briarwood Place at 9:12 p.m. on Nov. 16. The windshield on a Mitsubishi Gallant valued at $3,000 was reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of East Third Street on Nov. 19 at 3:25 a.m. in reference to an unknown trouble. A door and a threshold with a combined value of $175 were reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of North Main Street on Nov. 20 at 10:25 a.m. in reference to a violation of a temporary restraining order. A door valued at $100 was reported damaged or destroyed.

Larceny/theft

Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of South Sunset Avenue on Nov. 15 at 8:54 a.m. in reference to a larceny. A propane heater, a propane tank and a bug zapper with a combined value of $280 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 3200 block of South Kentucky Avenue on Nov. 15 at 12:22 p.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary. A Springfield handgun valued at $350 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 4500 block of North Main Street on Nov. 15 at 5:37 p.m. in reference to shoplifting in progress. Articles of clothing with a combined value of $108.62 were reported stolen.

Police responded to a larceny shoplifting on Nov. 15 at 9:18 p.m. in the 4500 block of North Main Street. Items with a combined value of $121.98 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of South Virginia Avenue on Nov. 15 at 10:58 p.m. in reference to a burglary. An Alexa speaker, three purses, a belt, a Visio TV, two watches, 22 pairs of shoes, two passports, makeup, a ring and a bed sheet with a combined value of $3,340 were reported stolen. A Samsung TV and a rear residence door with a combined value of $200 were reported damaged.

An officer was dispatched to the 4500 block of North Main Street on Nov. 18 at 8:56 a.m. in reference to shoplifting. Various tools and articles of clothing with a combined value of $572.51 were reported stolen and recovered.

Police were dispatched to the 4500 block of North Main Street on Nov. 18 at 12:19 a.m. in reference to shoplifting. Two pairs of pants with a combined value of $107 were reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 200 block of 22nd Street on Nov. 18 at 6:02 p.m. in reference to a larceny from a building. An iPhone valued at $760 was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of East Bland Street on Nov. 19 at 10:02 p.m. in reference to a burglary. A washer valued at $200 was reported stolen.

Police responded to a larceny call on Nov. 19 at 10:26 p.m. in the 200 block of South Delaware Avenue. A toolbox valued at $200 was reported stolen from a 2001 Ford.

An officer was flagged down in the 800 block of West Second Street on Nov. 21 at 8:12 a.m. A backpack and an iPad with a combined value of $270 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the zero block of Lighthall Place on Nov. 21 at 12:11 a.m. in reference to the unlawful taking of a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of West Second Street on Nov. 21 at 12:49 a.m. in reference to a stolen orange 2007 Chevy.
