Editor’s note: This article has been updated to include the time of the event.
The public is invited this Saturday, 4-6 p.m., to an elegant evening of holiday music, gallery talks, festive hors d’oeuvres, art-making and a star show.
Gather in the courtyard near the glowing chiminea and toss in a pine twig for good luck in this favorite Roswell Museum and Art Center tradition.
Enjoy a gallery talk to mark the opening of the Winter Celebrations exhibition, followed by a gallery talk from the artists of the Axle Contemporary exhibition. Piano music by Donny Simmons will fill the galleries as guests enjoy hors d’oeuvres from Pecos Flavors Winery, the return of the Stellar Coffee hot beverage bar and museum members receive discounts in the museum store.
The evening will conclude with a free planetarium star show before closing the doors so you can enjoy the Holiday Electric Light Parade presented by MainStreet Roswell.
This all-ages event is free.
The Museum is located at 1011 N. Richardson Ave., just north of the Roswell Convention Center. For more information, visit www.roswellmuseum.org or call 575-624-6744.
