SALLY J. GLENN, 83, of Roswell, New Mexico, passed away November 29, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Myron and Inez Housholder on March 16, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio. Sally graduated from Whitmer High School in 1954.

She is survived by her loving husband, Duane J. Glenn, whom she married in June 1959. They lived in Michigan for many years before relocating to Roswell, in 1976. Sally is survived by three children: Bonnie Mayes of Roswell; Randall Glenn of Las Cruces; and Sarah (Tuan) Nguyen of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Thomas Glenn of Roswell, in 2016.

Sally was a loving mother and housewife who enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, and playing card games. She also loved taking road trips, especially to Yellowstone National Park, which she visited many times. She had a silly sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Sally loved to play practical jokes on her family and was fun loving, often creating “treasure hunts” for special Christmas and birthday presents.

Sally is currently at Baca’s Funeral Chapel in Las Cruces. The graveside service and burial will take place on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 10 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho Avenue, Las Cruces. Pastor Doug Cowan will be officiating.
