Alison Penn Photo From left, representatives from the local Sam’s Club, Araceli Rodriguez, new club manager; Wendell Cockrell, outgoing club manager; and Carroll Caudill presented a $25,000 check to Chaves County CASA staff on Wednesday afternoon. Roswell’s Sam’s Club was awarded the Helen Walton Award for their community service and selected CASA to be the recipient of the funds. Carrie-Leigh Cloutier, CASA chief executive officer, third from right, said the donation was a “dream come true,” and it will be used for the CASA store, where this photo was taken, which provides free clothing, food, toys and more for CASA clients in need.
