SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Monday, December 9, 2019, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery.

Santiago (Jim) was born on September 28, 1950, to Eulalia Najar and Santiago Molina Sr. in Roswell, New Mexico. He grew up in Roswell and graduated in 1970 from Roswell High School. Santiago worked for Sears as a mechanic prior to joining the Marine Corp in 1976 and retired in 1996. Most of his career was as a Radio Instructor at Marine Corps Base 29 Palms, CA. Upon Retirement, Santiago returned to Roswell, and while on the internet, he reconnected with his teenage sweetheart, Rose Oaxaca, and after dating, they were married till her passing in 2017.

Working on the yard and messing with computers were Santiago’s hobbies. He liked to connect with family, whether they lived near or far, through phone calls or e-mails. If Santiago saw a relative in a store, he would call out to them to greet them.

SURIVORS: Those left to cherish Santiago’s memories are his sister, Noemi Ceballos; and brother, Ben Sanchez.

PRECEDED: He was preceded in death by his parents, Eulalia Najar and Santiago Molina Sr.; stepfather John Bowden.
