Volunteers for the Marine Reserve Corps Toys for Tots holiday fundraiser held a “stuff the bus” drive Saturday at Walmart to encourage more donations before the gift distribution on Dec. 14 at 500 N. Main St. starting about 9 a.m. From left are Gabriel Gurrola, David Blount, Roswell High School student council vice president Zaney Reynolds and Jim Bloodhart. They say people can drop off toys for a few days this week at boxes located in businesses throughout the town or can donate online at roswell-nm.toysfortots.org. That website also lists the toy box locations. More information is available by calling 575-347-1625. Families can register for toys and gifts until today. Those not registered on Dec. 14 can participate in the distribution after registered children have selected their gifts. (Lisa Dunlap Photo)
