DONALD “DON” WAYNE GRAY, 65, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019, in Dexter, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Don’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

SERVICES: A Graveside Service will be held at Woodbine Cemetery, in Artesia, New Mexico, on Monday, December 23, 2019, at 10:00 AM.

On April 12, 1954, Don was born to William D. “Billie” and Glyn Starling Gray in Artesia, New Mexico. Prior to retirement, he worked as a farmer and truck driver. Don enjoyed driving, working on, and collecting tractors and old farm machinery. He never missed the opportunity to tell a fun story or crack a joke. Don’s deep laugh was contagious, and it warmed the room for all who could hear him. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones and anyone who had the opportunity to meet him.

There is not a soul on this earth that is quite like Don Gray. He was an honest, salt of the earth man, that worked hard to make ends meet. He had the biggest serving heart, always putting others above himself. Don dedicated much of his life to providing for his brother Johnny and his special needs.

SURIVORS: Don is survived by his extended family: Patty Gray-Nunez and Mary Carol Bryant; and close friends: Phil Grassie, Ken Brown, Brian Reeser, Leslie Luginbill, and Dustin Devenport.
