Jean Hoyenga, a 20-year Roswell resident will be turning 100 on Saturday. She was born December 28, 1919.

She lived most of her life in the state of California before retiring to Roswell 20 years ago. She currently resides in Peachtree retirement center here in Roswell.
Five generations of her family also live in Roswell. Jean has two children, Cheryl Hale of Roswell and Richard Smith of Oregon. She also has seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
